WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE
Mattawa River Resort takes the health our staff and guests very seriously. We ask you to please review this page in full prior to checking in.
New standards have been put into place to help keep everyone safe – our guests, our staff and our family. Prior to the arrival of each guest our cabins are cleaned completely and then “fogged” with a product called EnviraMist.
EnviraMist is the Gold Standard in Electro Chemically Activated (ECA) sanitizers. This product is up to 100X more effective than bleach. EnviraMist kills 99.999% of all viruses, bacteria, spores and mold. Mattawa River Resort encourages all guests to follow guidelines set out regarding social distancing and use of masks in shared areas. Learn more at Once the cabin has been completed by our staff, that cabin is kept closed till arrival.
All bookings are final and refunds will not available for summer time bookings. Should you not be able to make your booking, we will work with you to find you new dates and even issue you a credit valid for ONE YEAR from original date of check in that can be used by you or anyone else you choose to give or sell it to. We apologize to those who find this unfair, however, this is the only way a small, family owned resort can operate in hopes or making up for the losses we have suffered during this pandemic.
For group reservation that were previously confirmed with a deposit; there is a no refund policy in place. Single Cottage Rentals are subject to “Force Majeure” during COVID-19 and we will be giving you a credit to use at a later date, Mattawa River Resort cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the reservation contract is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “Force Majeure.” Circumstances amounting to “Force Majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Group Booking, Family Reunions, Weddings and Corporate Retreats cancelled will forfeit the entire deposit. The property reserves the right at their discretion to give credit based on circumstances of cancellation for credit. Policies are subject to change at any time.
